Shock Set-up Tips for Dirt and Asphalt Here are some shock set up tips you can apply at the race track
Like anything else all suggestions are just what they are "suggestions." All cars and drivers are not alike, but in general these are common applied pratices we have used over the years.

Condition: Tight In
LF: increase compression
RF: decrease compression
LR: increase rebound
RR: decrease rebound

Condition: Tight Off
LF: decrease rebound

LR: increase compression
RR: increase compression

Condition: Loose In
LF: decrease compression
RF: increase compression
LR: decrease rebound or compression

A shocks compression on asphalt will act very similar to adding or removing spring to a particular corner. |
