The 2007 racing season for Gular Motorsports and driver Mike Gular is winding down. The points battles at both weekly tracks have concluded (very successfully for the team), but some special events remain. Below is a summary of the happenings for the team during the late-summer and early-fall, including the drive to a championship!

Mike Gular wraps up the 2007 Penn-Can Championship after his 2nd place finish on Friday night. With a faltering engine for the final laps, it was unclear whether Mike could hold on to take the Championship... (more)

Mike Gular continues his winning ways! Mike won his 3rd modified win on Aug 24th Penn-Can Speedway in the 30-lap feature which puts him 55 pts ahead of Jeff Rudalavage. For more, see Mike's website.

Jon Seaman Grabs 1st & 2nd place finishes @ Hickory Speedway - North Carolina. Jon Seaman, making his first ever start at the tough Hickory Speedway in his #63 Ford Focus Midget, grabbed a pair of top 5 finishes, a 2nd place finish in the first feature of the night & grabbing the win in the second feature. Jon had never seen the speedway until unloading earlier in the day, and to come home with a win and a second in his first visit is an impressive feat! Jon is getting ready to start engineering studies at Rochester Institute of Technology, which he hopes will help with his racing career.

Harleysville, Pa.’s Mike Gular drove to victory in Friday night’s 30 lap Modified feature at the Penn Can Speedway, earning his second victory in as many weeks. (more)

Brian"The Dream " Weaver Wins First Ever Fulton Modified Main
FULTON, NY - Brian "The Dream" Weaver of Windsor made the long tow North pay off as he found himself in victory lane Saturday night at Fulton Speedway winning the 35 lap DIRTcar Modified feature. (read more)
Delaware HJ Bunting
Defending Modified Champion, H.J. Bunting led only one lap and he led that one by inches as he posted his first win of the 2007 season in the R.C. Holloway sponsored 25-lap feature Saturday night at the Delaware International Speedway. (read more)
Congratulations to Mike Ricci for winning at Accord Speedway!
Defending track champion Mike Ricci, followed his brother Rich and Robbie Green for the first 22 laps of the main event, and occasionally showed signs of testing different parts of the track to see if he could find the way around the two 55 numbered race cars. Congratulations to 19 yr. old Ginny Quinones of Pen Argyl Pennsylvania.
19 yr. old Ginny Quinones of Pen Argyl Pa., in her 4th year of USAC Ford Focus competition, became the 16th female driver to win a USAC feature race Saturday night, leading all 20 laps of the Northeast Ford Focus Series opener at the Waterford Speedbowl. (read more here)
